35th Annual International Conference on Soil, Water, Energy, and Air, March 16-19, 2026, Mission Valley, San Diego, CA

I’m reaching out to invite your students to attend AEHS Foundation’s NextGen day and/or submit an abstract for consideration in the annual student poster competition at the upcoming 35th Annual International Conference on Soil, Water, Energy, and Air.

NextGen day is on March 17th and is designed for students and emerging professionals in fields related to environmental science, conservation, and public health. It will include round table discussions with industry professionals and regulators, networking opportunities, a luncheon talk, and more! The first 25 students to register are free! You can find more information in the conference program here. Click the “Tuesday” tab and look for  “NextGen AEHS: A Day for Students and Emerging Professionals”

The student poster competition, held the same day, will award (1) $1000 and (2) $500 cash prizes. All students are invited to enter, full- or part-time (post-docs excluded). Winners will be selected based on originality, organization, communication, research techniques, and overall quality of the presentation. You can find more information, including past winners, here: https://www.aehsfoundation.org/wcstudentcomp

We would greatly appreciate it if you could share this opportunity with your students and encourage them to submit an abstract before the deadline of February 16th. You can find more information about the conference here: https://www.aehsfoundation.org/westcoast

If you have any questions or need further details, please feel free to reply to this email.

We hope to see you (or your students) at the conference!
