Hello, We are contacting you about the Association for Women in Science (AWIS) San Diego Scholarship Program which could be of interest to students at your institution. The AWIS-SD Scholarship encourages and rewards outstanding students pursuing degrees in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) fields at San Diego colleges and universities. The Scholarship Program, now in its 26th year, annually supports community college, undergraduate, and graduate students in San Diego County pursuing degrees in STEM fields where women are underrepresented. Scholarship funds help support their research projects and/or assist with additional educational expenses. The fields of study of previous AWIS-SD Scholars include biology, chemistry, physics, computer science, engineering, mathematics, and experimental psychology. All the application materials must be submitted by Friday, March 27, 2026.
