September Web Tip: New Logos Component
As the "USD 2.0" project is making continual progress, we have released a new Logos component that makes displaying logo images in a much easier and more visually appealing way on your web pages.
Logos Component
While similar to a media component, the logos component is meant to offer a more streamlined approach to displaying logo images to your users. These could be the logos of companies where alumni work, or to show the sponsorships for your events and initiatives.
Here is a quick recap of some of the Logos component's features:
- The ability to turn the image itself into a link
- Removes text/title options in an effort to emphasize a more concise, visually appealing display
- Includes grid, list, carousel and other similar display settings as the Media component
A live example can be seen on the College of Arts and Sciences home page.
You can view and test a sample Logos component in Camino. Additionally, Camino offers a "playground" area where you can explore the other templates, components and options that may work even better for your content.
