April Web Tip: Camino Design System
As the "USD 2.0" project is making continual progress, more and more sites are being transitioned into the 2.0 design system. This design system is built on Camino, USD's digital design library and we wanted to remind maintainers of the value that Camino offers as a testing area.
Camino - USD's Digital Design Library
As you become more accustomed to the templates, components and options in Cascade, there is also a complementary "playground" area that you will find beneficial. You can also explore Camino to find new templates, components and options that may work even better for your current content.

How Camino Can Help You
- In Cascade CMS, you have the option to create new pages based on Camino's starting templates. Being able to quickly preview example layouts and component options for any of these templates could save you valuable time and effort.
- There are new components in USD 2.0 and Camino offers the best place to freely test and modify without risking any changes to your current content (or helps you build a game plan when working on new content).
- Components offer more options and layout settings and Camino allows you to freely test options in a separate window while allowing you to simultaneously edit your content in Cascade.
For new and experienced Cascade users alike, Camino offers a valuable tool to help you cater and offer web content to your users in a more modern and streamlined way. Camino is highlighted during the Cascade CMS trainings as well, but if you have any additional questions please contact us via our online web request form.
If you have any questions or want some guidance on what options are available or may work best for you, please let us know via our online web request form:
