Good morning Cascade users,

If you have been active in Cascade in the last 30 days you may have received an email yesterday morning (Monday, January 20) from Hannon Hill, the vendor of Cascade CMS, with the subject line "Upcoming End of Life for TLS 1.0/1.1". We assure you this message is legitimate, and we apologize for any confusion or concern it may have caused.

The only action required on your part is to make sure your browsers are up to date starting February 11, 2020. You will need to do this regardless of whether or not you received the aforementioned communication from the vendor. If you do not have an updated browser you will not be able to log in to Cascade CMS after that date.

If you do not have administrative access to your computer to update your browsers you can contact the Help Desk at help@sandiego.edu or x7900 to handle your updates.

As a reminder, the following are approved browsers for the use of Cascade CMS on either a Mac or PC:
We will send a reminder of this required action in our monthly web tip before February 11, 2020 in preparation of this change. As always, please let us know via www.sandiego.edu/web-requests if you have any questions. Thank you!

In order to provide you with the best support, please contact us using our web request form at: www.sandiego.edu/web-requests
