September Web Tip: New Cascade Live
Preview Feature
There has
been a new editing feature added to Cascade CMS and along with some details
below, we also provide a short video that shows this new feature in
action.
Clicking the image below will take you to the
video. Note that the video itself is demonstrating the new feature while
editing the newer USD 2.0 template, however this is available for all site
editing, including 1.0 sites. There is no audio.
To recap
the video, there is a new live page preview feature while editing your
pages in Cascade. You will notice that when editing a page, it defaults to
a fullscreen edit window. Towards the top-right, there is a "Show Split
View" option where it would open the live page preview on the right side.
Note that there is a slight delay in the preview as you are
editing.
This will
not have any impact on your past, present or future work, this email is meant to be informational only. The process
to create, edit and save pages remains
unchanged however this new feature is a great addition to the platform and
readily available if desired.
