Transition of Web Request Ticketing System!

As of July 15, 2019, we have transitioned the Web Request ticketing system over to Salesforce, used by numerous departments around campus including the ITS Help Desk. Don't worry - we made the transition as seamless, and behind the scenes, as possible!

This transition will help save everyone as much time as possible. Allowing easier collaboration between various departments will help increase efficiency and provide faster resolutions! Ultimately this transition will allow for your request to travel in a more streamlined manner to the correct resource! 

What will change for you? Almost nothing!

If you have bookmarked or currently link to - www.sandiego.edu/web-request - it still works! This link will simply send you to our updated form. Still have a current ticket being worked on? No problem, as it has been transferred over to the new system on your behalf.

The only real change is that the form has a different look visually. Our goal was for it to be simple, straight-forward and visually appealing. You will still be able to specify the topic of the request and provide necessary details as needed.

The Web Team will still handle technical assistance with the website, technical review for workflows and directory requests.
