January Web Tip: Cascade Dashboard Update

Over the past month, Cascade CMS has made a couple of updates to the dashboard that will look different to you and may require you to update your dashboard. These changes involve updates to the widget system, including a new "My Workflows" widget that is discussed below. 

Cascade's NEW "My Workflows" Widget

The primary change to your dashboard involves the "My Workflows" tab being removed from your "My Content" widget and placed into a new stand-alaone widget. You will need to add this new widget back to your dashboard (steps below), but you can always access your workflow items from the full "My Content" menu. 

Step #1. On your Cascade dashboard, under the "Welcome Back" message on the left, you will see the "Add Widget" button. Once selected, it will open a window that includes all of the widget selections.

Step #2. In this widget selection window, scroll all the way to the bottom and you will find the "My Workflows" widget. Select that widget, and once the window closes, that widget will appear on your dashboard.

Step #3. You can drag and drop the new "My Workflows" widget across your dashboard's layout to your preference. In the image below, you will see the "My Workflows" widget is added back below the "My Content" widget.

This widget will show your in-progress workflows (as well as a quick status icon). You can select any of these workflows to view more information at your convenience.
